Hello, Meet

AARON FRODSHAM, MD

Clinical Director

Dr. Frodsham was born in Indianapolis, IN, but moved around a lot as a child: Texas, Brazil, Texas again and Utah. It was clear even as a young child that he was a people helper at his very core, so medicine was a natural fit for him.

Interventional Radiology was less evident. He entered medical school thinking he’d end up in Emergency Medicine or maybe Orthopedic Surgery; but after he heard about a specialty where doctors were using technology and imaging as the eyes while they did major procedures (stroke treatments, stopping gastro-intestinal bleeding, cancer therapies, etc.) he was hooked!

He spent four years at Yale University, Hospital of St. Raphael learning and practicing radiology reading and interpretation before doing his Fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Brown University, Rhode Island Hospital. He developed his love and skills in treating cancers, vascular disease and spine work with some of the best IR physicians in the country.

The call of the mountains and deserts of Utah brought Dr. Frodsham happily back to Utah where he’s worked in both private and academic hospitals. His conviction about providing exceptional medical care in outpatient settings inspired him to bring the first outpatient Interventional Radiology clinic to Utah.

When he’s not improving and saving patients’ lives, he can be found skiing, surfing (not in Utah), doing yoga, biking, hiking, cooking (you haven’t lived until he’s grilled a burger for you), and laughing with friends and family.
