Hello, Meet the Doctor

AARON FRODSHAM, MD

Founder & Interventional Radiologist, Evolve Medical

Dr. Aaron Frodsham is a board-certified Interventional Radiologist with over 20 years of experience in experience specializing in vascular, venous, and spinal disease. He is passionate about providing patients with advanced, minimally invasive treatments that improve circulation, relieve pain, and restore function — all in a comfortable outpatient setting.

Dr. Frodsham completed his Radiology training at Yale University’s Hospital of St. Raphael and a Fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Brown University’s Rhode Island Hospital, where he developed expertise in vascular and spine interventions under the mentorship of some of the nation’s leading specialists.

In 2016, Dr. Frodsham and his father, John Frodsham, established Utah’s first comprehensive outpatient interventional vascular clinic, pioneering a patient-centered model that brought hospital-level vascular and spine care into an outpatient environment. That clinic has since grown into Evolve Medical, where Dr. Frodsham continues his mission to expand access to cutting-edge vascular, spinal, and regenerative therapies.

His professional interests include peripheral arterial disease (PAD), venous disease, spinal interventions, and emerging innovations such as Genicular Artery Embolization (GAE) and regenerative therapies including Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and stem cell treatments.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Frodsham enjoys skiing, surfing, yoga, traveling, and spending time at the ocean with family and friends. He has lived abroad in Portugal and Brazil, is fluent in Portuguese and conversational in Spanish, and loves exploring new cultures. He once backpacked across Europe with his identical twin brother — who still occasionally drops by the clinic and keeps everyone guessing.

  • Personal Inspiration

Dr. Aaron Frodsham’s fascination with medicine began long before his formal training. As a child, he spent countless hours hiking and exploring the outdoors with his grandfather, Eugene Fairbanks, MD, in the beautiful Pacific Northwest — an ideal place for hiking, beachcombing, and discovering the wonders of nature. Those formative experiences, surrounded by forests and shorelines and guided by his grandfather’s love of anatomy and biology, sparked a deep appreciation for the intricate design of the human body and the desire to help others.

That same spirit of exploration continues to guide Dr. Frodsham’s work today — from pioneering advanced vascular and spine treatments to exploring new regenerative technologies that restore health and improve quality of life for his patients.
